A massive thank you to Andy Hugo and his team for creating our dream home.

We purchased a house that needed loads of TLC and on recommendation we chose Hugo Construction to undertake the works… and we were not disappointed. Over six months we saw our house ripped apart and then transformed – two ground floor extensions, a new kitchen and utility room, multiple rolled steel joists installed, a new stairway, new electrics and plumbing, and loads more!

Not only were his team of skilled tradesmen excellent to work with, but also those who he brought in to assist. Andy truly has a talented team behind him. Andy himself visited the site daily to ensure timely progress and was very approachable and amenable to changes as the project progressed. Incredibly happy clients.

Hugo Construction talked me through the whole process and I felt really comfortable with it. I asked really silly questions which Andy answered perfectly (without laughing). He told me not to worry, he told me he’d take care of it all. And that he did! Above & Beyond. Contracts signed, staged payments agreed, everything covered!

The lorry arrived – the ground works were done, the foundations were filled, building control arrived, the frame went up, the roof went on! All without a hitch…. My house remained as was – no effect on my life at all

Everyday the Hugo guys arrived 7.20am without fail, every single day come rain, hail or shine!

Any issues or questions I had were talked about each morning. Andy and the guys made it so simple for me because they always told me the evening before what would happen the next day and who would be there the next day.  I was kept informed throughout the whole process.

I left home every morning at 8.30am and went to work. When I got home 5.30the guys had locked up and everything  was spic and span – bloody amazing! And progress was rapid, really rapid. Always OVERACHIEVING!

Hugo Construction recently completed our home extension project and we couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. From day one from discussions between Andy, the architect and ourselves through to completion Andy took the stress of such a building project from us. His team were very professional, skilfull and hard working, when contractors were required these were known to Andy and it was hard to spot contractor from Andy’s team at times. Andy managed the building works and was onsite very often, again relieving any stress from us.

Having lived in the new extension for a few months now, it is a real pleasure to look around at the quality of finish and at some of the bespoke features Hugo Construction created. We would not hesitate in recommending Hugo Construction to anyone, and have already done so, for projects of this nature.
